Jenny Slagle

Associate

Jenny joined Kimmel & Associates in 2019 as an Associate within the General Construction Division.

She spent the early part of her career working in sales and marketing as a general real estate broker.

Jenny enjoyed connecting buyers with the right property, finding the right fit based on their goals, and giving them the platform to make something they dreamed about a reality. She loves getting to do the same thing with Kimmel & Associates, with careers instead of properties!

Jenny has a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Liberty University.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad, and their son, Ari.

We sat down with Jenny and asked her the following:

  • What do you like most about working at Kimmel & Associates?
I love being part of a company that has built its reputation on serving, and has been leading the industry and preserving integrity in the market for 40+ years.
  • What is one thing you learned early in your career that has made you successful?
Listen – really listen. Ask for clarification along the way and pivot to meet the client’s expectations.
  • What can clients and candidates expect from you?
I’m responsive and believe that good lines of communication are paramount in achieving results. I’ll also work with the intention of building and preserving relationships.
  • What makes you different from other recruiters in your industry?
My intention is that every opportunity to be of service contributes to a long-term, favorable relationship between Kimmel and our clients. I hope that my work can take something off the plate of our clients, give them peace of mind, and be an excellent career move for the candidates.
  • Do you have a favorite quote?
“The way a person does one thing is the way they do everything.” A college professor used to say this to me and it really is true. Integrity is revealed in the small things.
  • What causes are you passionate about?
Helping kids become avid readers. I’ve been a reading tutor at our local elementary school for many years.
  • Personal interests?
I laugh when people ask me this and always say that I married a much more fun person than I am so that I no longer have to think about what my hobbies are! My husband is very outgoing and adventurous. We love living in Asheville, and our favorite place to visit is Charleston, SC. We have a new baby boy who is opening up our world to a whole new set of adventures!
