-
What do you like most about working at Kimmel & Associates?
I can walk five feet in any direction and find an absolute expert in their field. The team here is so knowledgeable and helpful, which helps open so many more doors for the clients and candidates. You can really appreciate the 45 years that Kimmel & Associates has been working in the market when talking with the team! -
What is one thing you learned early in your career that has made you successful?
Ask more questions. No matter the role or situation, asking questions is usually the best way to make sure everyone is on the same page with the same expectations. Taking the time to ask the right questions is an investment in producing the best outcome. -
What is your greatest strength in your role?
I come to each conversation free of personal agenda. I am there to hear from the client or candidate about them and their needs. Going into a conversation without trying to steer the situation in a specific direction opens up so many more opportunities. -
Describe the most rewarding experience of your career.
I have been lucky enough to spend time in kindergarten classrooms. Watching the future of our world build their foundational literacy and number skills, form their first friendships, and build a love of learning is a magical experience. -
Favorite quote?
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” - The Lorax by Dr. Seuss -
What causes are you passionate about?
Supporting literacy and education opportunities is very important to me. I have volunteered as a tutor in many different roles, for young learners as well as adults. I was also a Girl Scout Troop leader for 6 years and really enjoyed providing experiential learning opportunities to the girls in my community. -
Personal interests?
Hiking, reading, playing piano, visiting museums, and baking.
