Jamie joined Kimmel & Associates in 2004 as a Recruiter in the General Construction Division. He serves the Southeast region.

He quickly developed successful partnerships with both clients and candidates within the General Construction Division. He is dedicated to each client and fully investigates a client company’s culture and expectations prior to starting a search. He is eager and diligent in his recruiting efforts, and he enjoys knowing that he presents clients with only the best candidates.

Jamie has received numerous accolades throughout his career with Kimmel & Associates, including Recruiter and Consultant of the Year honors. Promoted to Vice President in 2021 and to Executive Vice President in 2025, he is consistently one of our top performers.

He earned a BS in Psychology from Lee University.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling around the world, adding destinations to his list of more than 30 countries visited. He is also an avid lover of the outdoors, including road biking, mountain biking, backpacking, and skiing.

We sat down with Jamie and asked him the following:

• What do you like most about working at Kimmel & Associates?
  It’s like owning my own company without having to do anything administrative.
• What is one thing you learned early in your career that has made you successful?
  There will always be ups and downs in any given year, or quarter for that matter. Learn to stay calm, committed, and steady.
• What is your greatest strength in your role?
  Being detail-oriented and setting expectations so there are no surprises in the process.
• What can clients and candidates expect from you?
  My best effort.
• Personal interests?
  Skiing out West every year, usually 2 or 3 trips each year. Road cycling. I love the Panthers and Folly Beach.
