About the Position:
Hiring for a Project Superintendent. The Superintendent is responsible for all phases of the construction project including coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Superintendent is responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.


• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure a timely project completion
• Communicate with project team regarding material submittals
• Confirm that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with the contracted scope
• Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
• Advise project team on all conflicts in construction progress
• Ensure the jobsite is kept in a clean and organized manner
• Performs job progress schedule (two weeks look ahead) through project completion
• Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite
• Demonstrates group presentation skills
• Identify work areas that are outside of the subcontracted scope
• Opening and closing of jobsite each day
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
• Preside a preconstruction meeting and weekly Subcontractor Coordination meetings with subcontractors


• Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience through knowledge of trades
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Outlook)
• Procore and CMiC experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction drawings, submittals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
• Please note if you have experience in the Healthcare (hospital, lab, sterile environments, etc.) or Higher Education industry and years of experience.
