About the Position:

Hiring for a Project Development Director, responsible for the development of a pipeline of utility-class private electrical infrastructure projects within Transmission, Substation, Distribution, and Microgrid projects. These projects will support large industrial and commercial customers in several market verticals, including, but not limited to Oil & Gas, Hyperscale Data Centers, Crypto Mining Facilities, Green Hydrogen, and others.


Experience and documented success (deal sheet) leading and managing project development efforts within Transmission, Substation, Distribution, and Microgrid projects.

Experience and understanding of land, permitting, utility interconnection requirements, water rights, and fiber availability. This individual will be responsible for site identification, land acquisition, project permitting, coordinating site studies and diligence, managing the utility interconnection process, managing project development budgets, and ensuring projects successfully reach construction commencement.

10+ years of project management or development experience in utility-class electrical infrastructure (transmission, substations, distribution).

Wind, Solar, microgrid and energy storage knowledge and familiarity within ERCOT.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical engineering, project/construction management or equivalent.
