About the Position

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the project’s Quality Control Plan, ensuring that all construction activities meet strict federal standards and project specifications. The QCM will coordinate with project teams, government agencies, and subcontractors to deliver a quality-first construction process from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and managing the project’s Three-Phase Quality Control System per USACE standards.

  • Coordinating daily inspections and subcontractor activities.

  • Preparing and maintaining detailed QC documentation and reports.

  • Ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Working closely with safety and field teams to proactively resolve quality issues.


Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Control roles within federal construction.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, or Embassy construction protocols.

  • Familiarity with aviation-related construction (runways, hangars) is a strong plus.

  • Experience implementing USACE’s Three-Phase QC System.

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Willingness to work on-site in Australia for the duration of the project.

  • U.S. citizenship may be required due to project clearance requirements.
