About the Position:
Our client is seeking a skilled Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial reports
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions
- Manage accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate audits and work with external auditors
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Requirements:
- Proficiency in financial concepts, accounting principles, and general ledger reconciliation
- Strong technical accounting skills and experience in financial management
- Previous experience in general ledger accounting and accounts payable
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred
