Seeking an Engineering Manager to guide the development of the construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Review the design and oversee and guide development of the bid documents for construction contracts.
• Respond to contractor RFI's and review contractor ATC's.
• Review VECPs and provide recommendation for approval.
• Strong understanding of rail systems to allow interface and configuration management between the contracts both during design and construction.
• Oversee the Approved for Construction (AFC) process during the construction phase.
Requirements:
Approximately 20 years in supervising the design and construction of major design-build rail projects.
• Strong understanding of fire, life and safety issues in metro rail systems including emergency egress, climate control and NFPA 130.
• Experience in tunnels, deep foundations, bridges, rail systems, tunnel ventilation, ADA compliance, and fire, life and safety within metro rail systems.
