About the Position:
Hiring a Sr. Pre-Construction Manager will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects, focusing on pre-construction activities, estimating, and project planning. This individual will collaborate closely with our project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes. They will manage the estimating, purchasing, and engineering departments and work closely with the sales and operations departments to secure or purchase projects.
Requirements:
• Candidate must have 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with estimating AND purchasing.
• Take the lead to initiate, identify, and execute bid strategies, and work closely with VP/RM before and on bid day with vendor communications.
• Work with estimator, sales, and operations team to develop bidding and pricing strategies.
• Successful candidate will lead and oversee both Estimating and Purchasing teams
• Expertise and/or understanding in Private, Public, Design, Build, and Negotiated Delivery Methods within Divisions; 5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13.
• Software experience, i.e., Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.
