About the Position
The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across their HVAC and refrigerant product lines. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of two essential, market-leading solutions in a rapidly changing industry.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will initiate and build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including project owners, developers, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and subcontractors. You will educate stakeholders on new building codes and product solutions, driving the adoption of our advanced systems. This role involves managing complex sales cycles through design, bid, and construction phases while collaborating with internal teams to meet sales goals and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth: Drive regional sales growth for products.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including project owners, developers, general contractors, mechanical contractors, sheet metal subcontractors, and drywall contractors.
- Education & Consultation: Inform customers about evolving building codes, product solutions, and compliance requirements related to fire-rated ductwork and A2L refrigerant enclosures.
- Sales Cycle Management: Navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring successful transitions from design through bidding and construction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Estimating, Business Development, Engineering, and Project Management, to drive project success.
- Pipeline Management: Actively manage your sales pipeline to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.
- Sales Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales reporting, project tracking, and CRM updates.
Requirements
- Education: A 4-year degree is required; a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales within the commercial building construction industry.
- Proven track record in sales of engineered products or construction materials, especially with a focus on introducing new products to market.
- Strong familiarity with construction processes, HVAC systems, and/or architectural drywall assemblies; experience with fire protection systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of complex sales cycles, managing relationships with multiple stakeholders across various trades.
- Previous experience in navigating code-driven product adoption environments.
- Exposure to mixed-use, residential, healthcare, or hospitality construction projects is an advantage.
