About the Position
The company is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead a high-impact pipeline rehabilitation project for the City of Los Angeles. This is a full-time, on-site role based out of the project field office in Los Angeles County.
This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving in the field, and has a deep understanding of multi-staged construction projects. You will play a pivotal role in managing the safety, financial performance, and team development on-site. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape your role based on your individual strengths, with flexibility to lead various scopes of self-performed work, as well as cultivate relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and city personnel.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Solve construction-related challenges directly on-site.

Collaborate with the Project Superintendent on site logistics planning.

Monitor and manage project budgets, labor, and cost reports.

Analyze and forecast Total Cost Projections.

Lead project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders.

Foster strong relationships with designers, vendors, subcontractors, and owner representatives.

Interpret and maintain contractual compliance with the City of Los Angeles.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction; pipeline rehabilitation and sliplining experience strongly desired.

Proven track record managing subcontracts, subcontractors, and self-perform crews.

Strong leadership in managing teams and developing talent.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, field-based environment with multiple stakeholders.
