About the Position:
As a Senior Superintendent, you will be at the helm of a high-profile $100M multifamily construction project. This leadership role requires an experienced and dynamic individual capable of overseeing and managing all on-site activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage and mentor a team of superintendents, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring safety, quality control, and seamless coordination between all parties involved. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the $100M multifamily construction project.
- Oversee a team of superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
- Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety by enforcing OSHA standards and company safety policies on-site.
- Resolve construction issues and challenges proactively and efficiently to avoid project delays.
- Manage and track project schedules, budgets, and change orders, providing timely updates to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and clear communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in construction management with a proven track record of leading large-scale multifamily construction projects.
- Prior experience managing projects of $50M or more in size, with a preference for multifamily or residential experience.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
