About the Position
The company is looking for a motivated IT Technical Support II to join our dynamic IT team. This position will focus on providing technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring that all IT systems function efficiently and reliably. As part of the team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting system issues, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and providing helpdesk support across multiple departments within the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming customer emails to the Help Desk and troubleshoot reported incidents.
- Analyze, diagnose, and document system and hardware-related incidents in accordance with established procedures.
- Determine the severity, impact, and nature of issues and escalate as needed.
- Submit tickets for new service or application requests in tracking applications such as Freshdesk and IT Service-Now.
- Complete onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing staff.
- Perform hardware and software installations, and assist with deployment and relocation of staff across the airport.
- Provide IT support for division-wide events and on-the-job training for new department staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred, or equivalent job experience (10+ years).
- At least 4-5 years of experience in IT support or a related role, with a focus on troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11) and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Hands-on experience with PC hardware troubleshooting, including diagnosing and resolving component failures.
- Experience with network infrastructure troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN issues and VPN support.
