About the Position
As the HVAC Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing preconstruction efforts as projects transition from the sales cycle to the operations team. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of HVAC projects, and you will play a vital role in managing the initial stages of these projects.
In this position, you will:
- Work closely with the Pre-Construction team to provide early high-level budgets, as well as conceptual and schematic design budgets.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to provide accurate and detailed estimates for customers.
- Assist in determining project scope, materials, and resources, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Drive efforts to ensure all pre-construction activities are completed on time and in accordance with project timelines.
- Provide valuable input during the design phase to enhance overall project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC pre-construction, estimating, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, design, and industry best practices.
- Experience working with estimating teams to generate accurate project estimates.
- Ability to understand and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
