About the Position:
Hiring an Assistant Project Manager responsible for coordinating with the Project Managers to complete projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
• Develop a pre-construction RFP package
• Assist in creating and managing the project budget
• Ensure that all project documentation is filed and current
• Assist in planning, conducting, and documenting all project meetings
• Define project milestones and generate progress reports associated with each milestone
• Establish job processes, including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontractor change orders
• Ensure all project schedules are updated and communicated regularly
• Identify any potential obstacles or risks to the project
• Assist in managing the closeout process
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and all other project team members throughout the project life cycle
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required, four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations strongly preferred
• 2-5 years experience in commercial construction and working with a general contractor
• Previous experience on commercial job sites is strongly preferred
• Passion for the construction industry, establishing strong client relationships, and driving quality and excellence
• Proficient in project-specific software; CMiC, ProCore, Bluebeam, Adobe, TimberScan, and Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software
