About the Position:

Hiring for an Equipment Manager, responsible for daily equipment procurement, maintenance, supporting field operations, oversight of the company’s shop and warehouse. This position supervises the equipment superintendent, mechanics, and small tools coordinator. The Equipment Manager provides direction on policy, procedures, and best practices. Ensures that all repairs and maintenance of company equipment is complete and in compliance with federal and state maintenance standards. The Equipment Manager will plan and schedule the repair work, maintain DMV requirements and management of record keeping.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in heavy equipment or construction equipment is required with a preference in master mechanic, equipment superintendent, or equipment manager. With a required minimum of 5 years’ experience with transportation, interfacing with heavy equipment sales and the rental industry.

Ability to anticipate business needs and plan accordingly to ensure that equipment, employee, and fiscal resources are utilized in the most efficient manner.

The ability to operate office equipment with required proficient with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Experience with HCSS products is preferred.

Union contractor experience preferred.
