About the Position:

As the Lead Estimator, you will play a crucial leadership role in driving the success of our estimating department. You will mentor and guide other estimators, fostering a culture of accuracy and excellence in all project estimates. Your strategic insights and experience in commercial construction will be instrumental in developing and refining our estimating processes. As the Lead Estimator you will be reporting to the Vice President.

Responsiblities:

  • Lead and manage the estimating team to ensure accurate and timely quantity take-offs and bid analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive bid recaps and ensure the clarity of scope and pricing.
  • Guide the development of detailed estimates and conceptual estimating techniques.
  • Oversee trade partner outreach and ensure compliance with MWESB/COBID and other requirements.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of all estimate deliverables, ensuring they meet client and project team expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, and BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of construction activities and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
