About the Position:

Well respected Multifamily Owner/Developer is seeking a Director of Construction and Design to lead predevelopment, preconstruction and General Contractor oversight, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Director of Construction and Design will oversee all phases of project development, from preconstruction planning to final delivery for the company. The company hires third-party General Contractors to build the projects. This leader will be responsible for ensuring quality control, managing budgets and schedules, and driving innovation through standardized processes and scalable design strategies over 2-5+ projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement standardized construction oversight processes.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and design standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with development teams, general contractors, and design partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or 10+ years of experience in multi-family construction.
• Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and project management software.
• Experience in wrap, urban, and stick-frame multi-family projects.
