Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our client's team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing and submitting estimates for various projects, including highway interchanges, drainage systems, roads, and bridges. The ideal candidate will handle professional estimating duties and manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and solicit estimates for bidding on site work.
- Perform quantity takeoff and pricing for bidding purposes.
- Develop final project costs and construction budgets from cost estimates.
- Review contract documents to understand project parameters.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of construction means and methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience as a project supervisor; OR heavy highway field experience with at least 3 years of supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- A driven attitude with a focus on winning and successfully completing projects.
