About the Position:

Hiring for a Project Manager, responsible to oversee the day-to-day project operations and activities on one or multiple projects, including vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, site staff or other project managers. The PM will serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants and will maintain/improve as-sold project margins by implementing effective strategies and proactive planning. The Project Manager will execute contract scopes of work within project budgets and project schedules, using standard operating procedures in support of the overall organization goals, values, and mission.

Requirements:

• Four-year degree in construction management, civil engineering, business or related degree from a college or university.
• 5+ years of previous curtain wall industry PM experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet as well as accounting/project management software (Spectrum preferred).
• Understanding of the manufacturing process and performance characteristics for glass/glass coatings, and aluminum/aluminum finishes.
• Ability to perform technical reviews of shop drawings and calculations to ensure air, water, thermal, seismic, acoustic, and structural performance.
• Proficiency in "just in time" material procurement scheduling.
• Ability to coordinate job specific performance testing.
• Ability to coordinate the solution of changed or special site engineering problems.
• Proficiency in sealant and structural adhesive technologies.
• Knowledge of fire and smoke containment systems.
• Knowledge of safety and security glazing requirements.
• General construction knowledge of safety, organized labor (union), and insurance/bonding.
