About the Position
The Project Engineer supports the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and managing projects from initiation to closeout. They ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs while actively participating in job site safety measures. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, procuring materials and subcontractors, preparing RFIs and submittals, and attending job meetings. They also manage budgets, track project progress, process billings, and analyze cost reports. Additionally, they assist with scheduling, warranties, O&M documentation, and project closeouts to ensure timely and efficient completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Ability to diagnose and process key information, recognize critical areas on the job that could impact profitability, and then actively navigate the project away from risks and liabilities for a successful outcome.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong oral and written communication skills is required.
- Ability to multitask, think critically, and problem-solve is required.
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught is required.
- Must possess strong organizational and computer use skills and have a high level of competency to read/write/speak English and communicate with coworkers.
- Experience with drywall, metal-stud framing and ACT in the commercial market.
- Local to office is preferred

Compensation - $80,000 to $110,000
