About the Position:

The Sr. Project Manager, New Construction is an integral part of the development team focused on delivering predictable outcomes during the construction phase of projects. Responsible for organizing and directing highly complex, mixed-use and multifamily projects ensuring projects meet established goals for quality, schedule, and budget. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for directing the General Contractors, A&E teams, and third-party vendors for a seamless delivery of the projects to the operations and management teams.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Must have ten (10) years’ experience in construction, architecture, development, or related field overseeing construction and/or project management functions.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints, identify potential concerns and make recommendations.
• Proficient in Procore or other Project Management software (ie. Blue Beam).
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project and be able to develop accurate budget reports, spread sheets, correspondence, schedules, and other reporting as required.
• Experience with wood frame, multifamily construction.
• Experience with construction cost estimating, proposal development, contract management and construction administration.
• Valid driver’s license required. Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check (required).
• Ability to Travel to job sites

Preferred Skills

• Mixed-use construction experience including retail, office and parking garages combined with multifamily.
• Experience with precast and cast-in-place concrete parking garages and podium construction.
• Experience with sustainability criteria in construction a plus (familiar with NGBS standards).
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Able to interact well with others at all levels.
• Ability to build positive interactions and relationships with teams.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
