About the Position

As a Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the field operations for large-scale structural concrete projects. This role will require strong leadership skills to oversee project teams, drive project success, and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will act as a key liaison between the field teams, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Develop Teams: Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring efficient execution and high performance across all phases of construction.

• Drive Project Success: Oversee project plans, allocate manpower effectively, and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met.

• Ensure Quality & Compliance: Enforce industry best practices, company standards, and safety protocols to ensure that all projects are delivered with the highest quality and compliance.

• Solve Problems & Optimize Resources: Identify and address challenges early in the project to implement timely solutions and keep projects on track.

• Act as a Key Liaison: Maintain strong client relationships, resolve issues proactively, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in field operations management, preferably with a large-scale self-performing GC or concrete contractor.

• Industry Expertise: A strong background in structural concrete and experience managing a variety of project types, including large-scale builds.

• Project Management: Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1 million, demonstrating success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
