As they continue to grow and expand their portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to join their team.

About the Position:

The Senior Project Controls Manager will play a key role in overseeing the progress, schedule, and budget of large-scale construction projects, with a focus on aviation-related infrastructure. This position will require an experienced professional to coordinate and support various work phases, manage project risks, and provide progress reports to stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, designers, and other third parties to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project work activities to ensure support of project milestones.
  • Develop micro-phasing schedules to coordinate challenging work phases.
  • Engage with designers, contractors, and third-party entities to proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review contractor pay applications to ensure alignment with schedule updates and progress documents.
  • Coordinate cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with standards and accuracy.
  • Oversee schedule resource loading, leveling, and development, ensuring timely monitoring.
  • Provide regular progress reporting documents and creative reporting tools to communicate complex project progress.
  • Identify and report budget or schedule variances in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of project controls experience, preferably in public-sector airport projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex projects, including progress reporting for complicated designs.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Construction Management at Risk delivery methods is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred..
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours or weekend shifts as needed.
  • Hybrid/telework schedule: Telework on Monday and Friday; onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
