About the Company

Client company is an energy infrastructure owner with completed transactions totaling over $1 billion. Our client is looking to hire a Director of Development for their Community Solar Division.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Scaling a growing business and driving critical internal process efficiencies and initiatives
  • Leading the execution of post-acquisition, pre-mobilization tasks for community solar projects
  • Working comfortably with investment, asset management, and delivery teams


Candidate qualifications & core characteristics:

  • Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
  • Proven experience understanding and navigating laws and regulations at a state and local level.
  • Deep familiarity with the community solar development lifecycle.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • A risk management mindset and ability to anticipate challenges.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills.
  • High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
